Biography

Benjamin Strick is an open source investigator with BBC Africa Eye specialising in data analysis, networks, geospatial intelligence and conflict. He worked on the Peabody Award-winning Anatomy of a Killing, Turkey's Ghost Ships, Sudan’s Secret Hit Squads, and Sudan’s Livestream Massacre and has been the lead trainer/investigator for the EUArms Bellingcat collaboration project.

Ben has investigated for online investigations site Bellingcat, providing case studies on satellite image filtering, geospatial intelligence and bot network analysis. He has a background in law and the military, and focusses on using OSINT/GEOINT and intelligence methods for good, through human rights, conflict, and privacy.
