Alexandre Léchenet
Biography
Alexandre Léchenet is a data-journalist for almost ten years. He has worked for Le Monde – where he participated to SwissLeaks with ICIJ – Libération, where he cofounded the data-team and he published stories with Wikileaks. He also worked for France 2, French public service television and is now a freelancer. He founded Le Panier à salade, a newsletter about police and justice, with an ounce of data.
He was a journalist fellow at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, in Oxford (Great-Britain) in 2014, where he wrote about the role of the computer-assisted reporter in global collaborative investigation. He is teaching data-investigation and data-journalism in different j-schools and universities in France.
