Biography

Saimi Reyes is editor and journalist at Postdata.club. She has been nominated for two years (2018 2019) as Young Journalist of the Year in the Data Journalism Awards. As a member of Postdata.club, she has been nominated in categories as Website of the Year (2017 2019) Best Team (2019) and has won the Online Journalism Award 2018 as Micronewsroom in the General Excellence category. She participated in the Latin American Congress of Investigative Journalism 2018 and at the GEN Summit 2018 and was part of the jury of the Hackathon "Innovation for the future of journalism". As part of Postdata.club was nominated in the category of Micro Newsroom in the Online Journalism Award 2019 and has obtained honorable mention in the Journalistic Excellence Contest of the SIP. She is co-author of a chapter of the Data Journalism Handbook and teaches the subject of Data Journalism at the University of Havana.
