Biography
Ankur Paliwal is an independent journalist, and mostly writes stories at the intersection of science and society. He also co-founded Land Conflict Watch--a journalism initiative that maps and collects data about ongoing land conflicts in India. He has reported from India, Ethiopia, Kenya, Ghana, Germany and the United States for Scientific American, Nautilus, GQ, PBS, and several Indian news publications.
He has an MA degree in science journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York. Paliwal won Next Generation of Science Journalists Award 2016 at World Health Summit in Berlin. He currently lives in New Delhi.
